MIDI
The MIDI interface allows the Flex3 to be connected to a PC. Line6 provides software to update things in the amp. A quick overview:- Line6Monkey - to maintain the system software (firmware) in the pc.
- Line6Edit - to edit (deep edit is the term used in the doc) th9ings that you have no access to on the amp itself.
Connecting the amp to a pc
There are two options: gameport or USB. Most PCs have USB, so that seems the obvious way to go.- USB: get a USB MIDI cable and use that. The Line6 forums talk about what's good and what not. I am using a gameport so I am not in the position to recommend any of the USB solutions.
- Gameport: get a MIDI cable for that and connect it to the Flex3.
